How do you do it?

We've tried a cold knife, wire and even bought a kit. We're stumped, and not about to pay $130 to have someone come and take it out when we payed $94 for the windshield....

anyone?

usually piano wire works, someone on the inside and outside...both working in the same direction all the way around. this should just be a glued in WS right?

I have always cut the old weatherstripping to get the old one out. You'll end up breaking an old one anyways trying to reuse it so I've always replaced the rubber on the way back in.

it is glued in and we have another, but would prefer to have as little cleanup as possible to save time... the cold knife nor the wire kit is able to cut the urethane glue used to secure the window so at this point I'm thinkin there's only one choice left... but oh man do I hate cleanin up glass...

What chuck said! Piano wire is strong and durable. Just make sure you wear gloves. Its kind of a pain to get it through though.

well, we got it out, I ended up kicking it out, pretty easy clean up and made it a lot easier to seperate it from the urethane...
Thanks guys!
