Thinking about 4 linking the rear this winter. Has anyone here 4 linked their bronco without the duff kit?

Thomas, welcome to the club....That's a bad arse 74 EB you got there. I lived in Ripley, MS for 12 years until I retired in 2009 and we moved back to NC. My son and his family still live there, so we go back to visit 3-4 times per year....Keep those pics coming, especially those showing you tackling the trails in the Superlift ORV park....Sweet!! 74 EBs Rock

Thanks for the warm welcome. I looking to make up my on "kit" to save a few dollars. It looks like K.O.R.E. makes all the brackets and has a truss for the 14 bolt. Just gotta decide if I'm going to use coil springs or save my coins and so I can go ORI's.

My vote is for even just coil springs over ORI's. If you are gonna save enough for struts, I'd just go with some used coil overs.

I had a 4 link on my trail rig that was already in place. I did modify it some when I went full width. Trusses are pretty easy to make but are time consuming.

If you haven't already done so, start looking at the 4 link calculator on pirate4x4 and doing some work on it. It isn't much fun and is time consuming, but the education and end result will be worth your time.

This is what I was thinking. I've been talking with a couple bronco guys with coils and I think this is the way I'm going to do it. I'm also going to move the axle back 4 inches. Hope to get started on it soon..
I've been looking at K.O.R.E they have a nice 14 bolt truss that ties in with the pinion. They also have a 4 link bracked for a 4 inch square frame.
