gas gauge - fomoco - 01-28-2008 Anyone tell me why my new sending unit and fuel selector switch don't read right on my gauge? gas gauge - bucketobolts - 01-29-2008 Is it not reading correctly, all the way full, all the way empty, or not switching tanks? gas gauge - fomoco - 02-01-2008 it's not reading all the way full and i know it's full gas gauge - fomoco - 02-01-2008 it's not reading all the way full and i know it's full gas gauge - blazinchuck - 02-01-2008 fomoco Wrote:it's not reading all the way full and i know it's fullthat could just be an adjustment. It might even stay on empty for a long time the way it sits right now. I would guess you need to make a small bend with the float shaft or rotate the sender if possible. Let us know,Chuck gas gauge - fomoco - 02-03-2008 Thanks i'll try that . gas gauge - chuzie - 02-20-2008 Do the new units still utilize that white capacitor dealywhopper on the back of the instrument gauge to smooth the readings? It has been a while since i have thought about bronco electrics but i seem to recall it having something to do with bum readings on the cluster. yes- i am crazy. gas gauge - K45 - 02-20-2008 Mine had the same problem but the other way. It will show 1/4 of tank and it was slam empty. It was an adjustment to the float that fixed that issue. gas gauge - fomoco - 02-20-2008 found the problem i think the new float had fuel in it so i put old one back in worked for a day lol now it shows empty lol . jeffs said that that part wasn't covered so new float on the way . thanks guys. |
