New to the site - usmcracing - 02-13-2008 I don't have a Bronco but I'm getting my Wife a 75 Bronco around the 1st of March. I'm in the Marines, just case you didn't notice my user ID. We are both from Andrews, SC but have been stationed in Yuma, Az, Jacksonville, Fl, and Beaufort, SC (now) over the past 9 years. I love to go offroad, rocks/trail riding mostly but I have been known to romp around some mud. I've always liked/wanted a early Bronco since I was a kid. My offroad toy now is a 91 Toyota 4Runner that is fully built and set up for rock crawling. We are selling our house in Jacksonville and close on it on the 29th of Feb and my wife said that she wanted to get a older Jeep to drive on the weekend or when ever. I'm not a big Jeep fan and I didn't want to give my wife the "Jeep Thing" cause Ajax can't take it off. I knew that she also liked the early Broncos and Toyota FJ40s, so I would send her pics of Broncos and FJ40s and she actual said that she wanted a Bronco. The FJ40s just cost too much for a rust free one and the twice the money to restore then a Bronco. After show her almost every clean Bronco that I could find she actual picked a few. Since this "HERS" all the really cool ones (the ones I liked) didn't pass her inspection. So I asked what she wanted it look like and I found a couple that fit what she wanted to a T. The one that she picked and feel in love is really nice but there is one thing that I don't like about it. This is the time for diehard Ford fans to stop reading cause it's going to get ugly, the 75 Bronco she picked has a Chevy 5.3L Vortec, 700R4, NP231, Dana60-44. I'm glad I found the site and I look forward to meet you guys. Steven and Joni New to the site - usmcracing - 02-13-2008 This is the one that I wanted and I think is a better deal and looking Bronco. http://classicbroncos.com/forums/showthread.php?t=111276 New to the site - 66bronco - 02-13-2008 welcome, thanks for what you do. bryan New to the site - usmcracing - 02-13-2008 66bronco Wrote:welcome, thanks for what you do. The link I posted for Bronco's ad has been deleted but I'm going to post up some pics of it. Steven New to the site - usmcracing - 02-19-2008 Well we aren't getting the Bronco now. My wife changed her mind and doesn't want a Bronco. I'm going to push it and I hope that we'll get a Bronco later. Steven |
