Got a perfect class III hitch for a early bronco. This bolts directly to the frame, really strong, would like $100.[Image: ed132828fc6eca6fe0a9e44f2326d312.jpg]

Looks like Biff got him a hitch. I have so many other things that need attention I will let him have it. Not a priority for me at this time as I do not plan on towing any time soon.
While on the subject of towing I have a question. Have any of you ever used a EB as a tow vehicle for another EB? I realize they are not great for towing large trailers due to the short wheel base. But if ya had power disk brakes and a tow bar how do you think a towing bronco sitting on 31 or 32 inch tires would do towing another EB on 33s? How do ya think the towed boronco would be with the 33s while under tow? Thoughts are welcome.

Should I start another thread on this subject as I am sure someone else at some point will have this thought. Maybe. LOL

Thanks Dwight!! Kind of embarrassing (not really) but I had one of my buddies tow my '73 when the clutch fried one time about 20 miles with a tow bar and a 2wd 4 cylinder short bed regular cab s-10 pickup. Got a picture somewhere and will have to find it now!! Pic was taken with a 35 mm camera on regular film......late '80s. Towed fine. Returned the favor and pulled his f150 short bed 2wd 300 6 cyl with the same tow bar and the '73 with drum brakes on the front. Did fine. Didn't try to beat any land speed records while doing it.

As you said Dwight, our Broncos are not good tow vehicles regardless of how much power or braking they posses. The real issue is the lack of weight and our tendency to want to tow large loads.
Now I would say this limitation only applies when towing a trailer with a viable tongue weight. IF you are flat towing another vehicle, I would venture to say our lack of weight is not a problem as there is no tongue weight applied. My concern when flat towing another Bronco would be the ability to properly cool the engine and transmission.
