Harlan trip during flood - scbronco - 10-28-2015 So me and the yota guys went to Harlan. Short story. We were there during the flood and it was wetter than the deck of the titanic. We rode and swam for 2 days and then broke Adams knuckle on a creek crawl called fish fossil. When we got back from camp with tools his junk was on its side. We flopped it and made the fix. By this time it was 0400. His fan broke so we start dragging him down the mtn in the dark. On a slight down hill his steering locks hard left climbs the cliff next to him and rolls him hard. It's now 0545. Brains don't work anymore. We leave it. Come back next morning, it's on its tires strapped to a tree on the cliff. Big thanks to the Pennsylvania guys from hardline crawlers. We drag him down pack up and go home. The end. We have a vendetta against Harlan. Part II in spring 2016. Harlan trip during flood - chuzie - 10-28-2015 Awesome pics. Looking forward to hearing more about it around the campfire next week. Thanks for sharing. I would love to get up to Harlan in the near future. |
