Well door wouldn't open, took panel off. Heres the door handle...looks shot but i've never seen one before so thought I'd post a pick for advice.

Anybody know the size of screw used for the old cardboard glove box replacements? Got a replacement, no screws

The inside handle looks fine, check the latch. They tend to fail more than the handles. The rods can also bend with age.
Dont know what screws, I just got some from work.

What Matt said. A crusty door catch mechanism or a bent rod is more likely the problem.

Probably a number 10 screw. Just a guess. Pop one of the clips off and take it with you to the hardware store of your choice.

I buy a variety of stainless screws in bulk and throw them into my hardware bin. I do know that the screw holding the glove box strap was originally a special screw with a shoulder on it. You could get by with a regular one but don't tighten it.
