Passenger Door Handle 73 - EER - 01-23-2017 Also, Anybody know the size of screw used for the old cardboard glove box replacements? Got a replacement, no screws Passenger Door Handle 73 - broncomatt - 01-23-2017 The inside handle looks fine, check the latch. They tend to fail more than the handles. The rods can also bend with age. Dont know what screws, I just got some from work. Passenger Door Handle 73 - broncosbybart - 01-23-2017 What Matt said. A crusty door catch mechanism or a bent rod is more likely the problem. Probably a number 10 screw. Just a guess. Pop one of the clips off and take it with you to the hardware store of your choice. I buy a variety of stainless screws in bulk and throw them into my hardware bin. I do know that the screw holding the glove box strap was originally a special screw with a shoulder on it. You could get by with a regular one but don't tighten it. |
