well, if it helps...I dont think I broke anything until I locked it...and to this date-yet to break the 9"...but I have been through about 6 joints/outer shafts on each front side

don't worry about tellico.last time i went i only broke 1 shosk mount off of frame,3 drivers side axles (front dana 44),and trashed a nine inch rear.trashed=ring and pinion and the third member it tried to go through the housing.but hey don't worry just have fun and be safe.
