What do you do with your old beat parts?

I'm collecting them to put on a shelf(like in "Fastest Indian",movie) The shelf would be "sacrificies to Rock Gods"

I used to have a collection of broken axle shafts lined up on the mantle.

I'm keeping mine in my garage. Don't know what I'm going to do with them, but I got'em. Some are broke and some are from swapping out. So some of them are good. Maybe I'll sell some of them.Confusedcratchhe:

I get a pile then take them to a buddies body shop. When we get enough together to make a load we take them to the "recycler." Old guy at the yard will correct you if you call it junk:doh2: Place in Statesville pays about $8.00 a hundred lbs, but they are very picky and usually backup. We carry our stuff to a small place over in East Spencer. He pays $7.00-7.50 a hundred. He doesn't make us the fuel tanks and will take tires.

i throw mine in a junk vehicle when i get one to take to the crusher.

the place i go to pays $9.00 per hundred pounds and you can leave the tires and gas tank on it. just punch a hole in the tank. so the more weight i throw in it, the bigger the check is when they pay me. Confusedupergrin:

but i keep the alt. , starter, battery, radiator, condensor, aluminum intake, aluminum wheels , catalytic convertor. they pay good money for that stuff to.
