Please help 6.5mpg is killin me and my chances on wheelin at any distance Thanks for your time in advance. JohnPaulgolf Ford V10 - chuzie - 04-28-2008 Sleep in your bronco? Look into a computer to kill some cylinders when they are not needed. But with all the drag from the motohome, I am pretty sure you will always need all 10 cyls. Right? Need more input than that come on...cpu shutting down cyl. what is that a Honda Pilot thang? Ford V10 - Ogeechee 4x4 - 04-28-2008 chevrolet and dodge does it too. when you're holding steady speed on the highway, the computer somehow shuts off 4 of the 8 cylinders... I have no idea how, tho... Well in that case I guess mine would be 5 out of 10....10 come on cratchhe: Ford V10 - chuzie - 04-29-2008 I have never heard of any of those rigs getting more than 12mpg and those are the new models. Reducing weight and working on reducing drag is always a start but I seriously doubt that would even make a dent considering the typical front profile typical of them. Wish I could be of better assistance but it sounds like there is not a lot that can be done. Ford V10 - johnpaulgolf - 04-30-2008 BUMP come on all these ford guys, someone surely knows something to help. Lets help a brother out. johnpaulgolf Wrote:Ok I have a 32' motorhome with Ford V10 gas motor...
