P.S./Hydraboost - JayT - 05-14-2008 I desperately need to upgrade my BB steering (and prolly brakes) b4 my next outing. Anyone have some suggestions (right now it's stock and running 35s) - besides getting my EB done and wheelin it instead. Thanks, JayT P.S./Hydraboost - cuz1 - 05-14-2008 JayT I am not sold on my hydro assist steerting. It works great crawling but it is slow to respond at higher speeds. Not sure what I will do to fix my problemcratchhe: P.S./Hydraboost - broncomania - 05-14-2008 cuz1 Wrote:JayT my ram assist worked great . but i only took it up to about 45 mph. and the set up is for sale. im going full hydro. Anyone have some suggestions (right now it's stock and running 35s) -what year is the bb ????? 35's i'd try a saginaw pump first. i had 42's on my 79 and just a saginaw pump and it did real good . just not good enough on big rocks. thats when i went with the ram assist and 44's . P.S./Hydraboost - JayT - 05-15-2008 Thanks... It's a 90. I'll try the sag pump and add the ram soon. I'll post back when it's done to let other know what my experience is. broncomania Wrote:what year is the bb ????? 35's i'd try a saginaw pump first. i had 42's on my 79 and just a saginaw pump and it did real good . just not good enough on big rocks. thats when i went with the ram assist and 44's . P.S./Hydraboost - broncomatt - 05-15-2008 I realy like a good ps box(f250 on my eb) and a saginaw pump. If it wont turn, bring up the rpm and it will help. For a dedicated rock bugy I can see wanting hydro, but for multi wheeling I would not. Broncomatt |
