Intimadators Baseball Night in Kannapolis - redsblue73 - 06-21-2008
Hey Everybody!
The Intimadators want to feature our club at one of the games.....just a local Single A team but they will let us park right up on the lawn at the main entrance....up to 30 free tickets per person (is what they did for David's club) and free hot dog, chips and drink for being there....we would have to make a commitment to be there early (say 5:30 for a 7:00 game).
I'm supposed to find out when they could schedule us so we may have to take whatever they can offer but it could range anywhere from Thursday nite to Sunday nite.....Friday's or Saturday's they usually have fireworks afterwards...."Thirsty Thursday" they have a huge crowd and soooooomany people would find out about the club.....:beer:
Give me your thoughts...If we have things happening then people can plug in when they can....the guy who schedules the events was excited about having the club there...

I'm meeting romorrow with the ticket manager...I told him we'd have more turn out over a weekend I thought....not as tight for people to have to get there right after work
This was actually fun the other night when we were there and there would be hundreds of people passing by the Bronco's:biggthumpup:
Let me know what ya think...I know I can get 5 broncos right now but it would be nice to have at least 10 or more

I up for it! I love baseball! The Intimidators have turned their season around. It was a rough start earlier this year and I believe they have moved up to 3rd or 4th in the Sally league standings.

Hey Aaron!....The team is doing a lot better this year...several homers the other night.....Today I met with the ticket manager and they REALLY want us to come out and actually hold a club outing for a good part of the day (if we'd like)...Do you think you can help me talk this up....this would be the most PUBLIC exposure we will have had yet if we can get some folks there...
He would like at least 10 Broncos (if not more there)...cmon people - the AMC group had an easy 17 there!
upergrin:Probably a Sunday afternoon game and he said he'd put together a sweet deal for us....
- buffet lunch for up to 20 people (pay extra for additional)
- come in around 12:00 or after and hang out - or at least be there with at least enough time to eat and be set up around 3:00 or 3:30 for a 5:00 Game
- up to ten tickets per person
Announcement of the club over the PA at the Game and video screen recognition throughout the game
He threw out some ideas for things we could do to have the fans interact with us as they're coming up to the gate...contests, judging of the Broncos:toothy12:, etc
Depending on the Sunday....with Aaron that makes 6 people that have shown interest either by phone or website
Anyone else? Let me know if there's NOT a Sunday that would work...:biggthumpup:

ok....here's where we stand with the game.....I REALLY need ya'lls input if you're willing to have a club event at the ball park...
[SIZE="3"]Sunday, July 20th[/SIZE] is the date - lunch or after...be there at least by 3:00 if you can't make lunch......
The manager would like at least 10 + Broncos and I've got the following people say that they could be there:
Rhonda, Aaron, Rob, Wendell, Jim R, Mike Mills (new), Clint
The rest are good possiblities:
Mike T (new), Darrell, Jeff R (new)
I know we've got to have another hand full of people that could show up....we need to spread the word...and what better way than with hundreds of people gawking at your Bronco:rubeyes: ...spread the word!
Let me know if you can make it! It'll be a good time...I hate gas prices:banghead: - I know we'd have more people willing to come if it wasn't for that......

it would be fun, id love to drive mine up there but ive just recently cut through some wires behind the dash and havent fixed em yet. and the condition mine is in i think i would morely bring us down. im in the middle of the project, got the lift in but no tires. im rollin on some bald 31's.
