On a side note...
I was in Toronto this week. They celebrated "Canada Day" on Monday.. I asked "What was the celebration about?"...they responded "our independence"...Then I asked "from whom?" answer was "England" ...Then I asked "Then why do you still celebrated the Queen's (of England) birthday then?" (official day off work)....they were puzzled.... you see.... they were somewhat given their independence by England....and still have ties with England... agreed it is more ceremonial...but there are ties..
We had to win our independence through brave forefathers!! :america::america::america::america::america:

:patriot: I hope each of us remembers that freedom isn't free. We still have men and women in harms way and we need to remember them on this wonderful holiday. If it wasn't for their brave efforts we might be worshiping "Allah" and speaking arabic. I want to thank all the men and women in uniform and all the ones that have gone before. As said by one of the greatest presidents this nation has ever had, Ronald Reagan "All gave some , some gave all!"
