Leaky tranny dip stick tube. - chuzie - 08-09-2008 I have a leaky tranny dip stick tube at the pan on my C4. Tried teflon tape and wrenching the crapout of it but still have a slow drip. Suggestions / solutions? Leaky tranny dip stick tube. - bucketobolts - 08-09-2008 There is not a small split in the tube is it? I've also seen the pan split inside where the flare seats. Leaky tranny dip stick tube. - broncomatt - 08-10-2008 I spent years trying to stop that same problem on my eb. Over tighting it will even make it worse. The best fix is a new tube, the flare at the end gets worn out. I like the one from Jeffs that uses a chevy style stick. It flips over to seal the top. broncomatt Leaky tranny dip stick tube. - chuzie - 08-10-2008 Thx. |
