i personally think the belts are more needed than the helmet becuase the restaints will keep you in the rig and not get ejected from the rig but i can see the helmet as something needed if you have an open rig (come to think of it i hit my head on the window bounceing around so) a helmet might be needed for me when ever im awake

I don't see anything worng with wearing one. As long as your buckled in and your seats are strongly mounted (To the cage is better) You should not have any problems in a roll over. Of coarse you never know, so wearing one is extra insurance.

Right in the middle of your rear view mirror field of view. I like it. I didn't think to do that. I mounted mine above the bumper on the bottom side of the body. In the gap left by the body lift.

You may need to angle that light down alittle so you can see where to hook the chain to bumper.
