chuck,
i did about the same. i got mad and tired of working on the bronco, so i bought a jeep cherokee for $500 with 33 swampers. i welded the axles up and took it to callalantee this past weekend. i beat the crap out of it and blow it up got pulled out. had a blast. it made me want to work on the bronco and get it back right. i miss my bronco.

You can wheel junk all day. I have had every brand 4x4 there is, still would rather wrench on a bronco the drive most others. Go beat that yoda for a while, then decide what you want to build your bronco too do. Then have some fun. Wrenching is part of the fun.

Right front fender?:hysterical:

It is all relative also. I think $6-8k for a turn key trail rig is cheap! It is hard to build one for less.
