So, the SC crew gets together every month... It got me thinking... Why not us? I know the holidays are tough for scheduling, but I thought I'd throw this out there for thought. After the new year, who'd like to get together each month? Let's see who's interested and we'll pick a central location. In addition to seeing everyone regularly, it'd also help with the planning of the Raleigh Bash.
Post up if you're interested in coming to the Raleigh area once a month starting in January (not mandatory attendance, of course) and where you're coming from. We'll pick a central spot and a date that works for the majority. :popc1:

Very Cool! I might not make them all, but I'll get Ol' Yeller out some. I'm about 35-40 miles from Raleigh, but we could meet in Raleigh one month then maybe eastern NC the next, then maybe Greensboro or somewhere around central NC.
Jay T, you got to see my RC crawler now, got a new transmission, new dig unit and I weighted the tires down with BB's. I just can't get my HPI Bronco body to fit on it.

Hey Shannon, you gonna be running Friday night too? I'm not sure I can make Saturday, but I probably will make it Friday night. That crawler was sick before, I can't wait to see it now!
Hey, with all your R/C friends and contacts, any chance you want to organize the R/C events at the Raleigh Bash? I don't mind talking to Otto, but you're way more into the know than I am in the R/C community. I know you're swamped with work, but maybe you can get the word out anyway and we'll talk more at the next meeting.
Good luck Sat!

I was thinking we'd wait until after the new year to start, but I'm all up for getting a small group together this month if there's interest. What's better for you, a weekend afternoon or some night after work? It's probably better for Shannon (errorhead) to do a weeknight, since he'll already be in town. Any day of the week works for me this month, but normally not Tuesdays or Wednesdays.

Let me know, I'm drivng the Bronco tomorrow, I love these gas prices! I might get to drive the Bronco alot if the gas price stay down.
I ran the idea by the guys at the RC crawling competition about having a RC rock crawler competition and/or exhibition at the Bronco bash, they are always ready to show off. As we get closer, we will have more info on how many are interested in coming and how long it would take, etc.
We had a great competition Saturday, ya'll should have come out. We had 12 crawlers, great food and great prizes. The rain made it very hard but fun. I was the only one that made it up a sheer wall backward and the rope bridge backwards, but I ended up third overall cause of backup penalties. I wish I could do some of these thing in full scale with going broke or killed. See you
