Local Raleigh meetings

Hello all I'm new to the group. I live in Fayetteville and would like to swing up to your bronco get togethers. I have a 69 bronco w/289. I'm working to get it finished and trial ready but as you know we are never finished.

Weekday or weekend? Where Raleigh? or we can jump around, so we cover the central part of the state a little. Just let me know, I'm game, as long as it's not the first week of January.

I just moved into the fayetteville area about a month and a half ago. I would lean toward a weekend due to the drive up after work. Any weekend but the first one would be fine for me. Please post an address for the meeting location so I can play with my GPS.

Alright guys... It looks like the best day for the majority is Thursdays... We'll give this a try for the first few months and if we need to change it to accommodate more, we will...
Let's plan on the 2nd Thursday of each month, starting in January. That would be Jan 8th. 6:00pm (we can also adjust the time, if necessary). Lynnwood Grill (across from 4wp, next to Raleigh Grande). If you run into anyone interested, just let them know that we meet regularly on the 2nd thursday of each month and keep an eye out on this site for any changes. See ya then! Jeff, I know that puts a hurt on your attendance... We're gonna play these by ear as we're just getting started. If we need to move them around, we will... If you get a friday off come on up! Or if ya wanna get up early for the commute, you're more than welcome to crash at my crib... It's only about 30-45 mins to F'ville from my place.

As of right now I can probably work my schedule to get up there on the 8th. In a couple of month I may not be able to manipulate my schedule to accomadate the early time of a mid-week meeting. Thanks for the offering up your place. Maybe we can work out something in the future.

I am also in Fayetteville and will try and make it. There are some guys on CB.com from the Raleigh area that would be interested.
Been a long time since I heard from Shannon (from the old Bronco.com days). I used to live in Angier a while ago and then SLC before that. Bill |
