3 link without coilovers?
#1
I had a idea that if I installed poly's 3 link kit and just kept the stock coils for now that would work right? I just don't want to dump big money on long radius arms that cost almost as much as the 3 link kit. Also any info out there for 3 link and 4 link setups? Good books? I really want to understand this before I get started. Poly's kit LOOKS pretty self explanatory but I do see some angles [ mostly radius arm to axle mount angles] that I don't know how to figure out. Maybe with a angle finder or something like that would be helpfull.

I know someone who could make you some long radius arms for about $400-450 ... I have some and I will be reporting back on how well I KNOW they will do ...

The problem is the pictures in the kit dont deal with having c-wedges cast into the axles like the Bronco does. You could probally hack off the arm and keep the wedges to provide a place for the coils to mount to but where would the lower brackets mount to as space is tight when the wedges are still there. There is a little room where the bumpstop is if you wanted to go that route.Ask Poly for some Bronco specific pictures and see what they send you. Both kits are Jeep kits that they just added Bronco names to as the rear kit gives you the D44 option but not a 9 in option.Sad
