Actually have two questions. i have a 92 FS that has a tendance to fall from 2x into 4x when it wants to my wife is currently driving it and i am in iraq headed home next month. THat was the first one the second is does anyone know where you can get a set of tube doors for the summer time. Just asking any help would be appreciated.

is the t-case a manual shifter or automatic? Locking hubs or automatic?

She bought it while been here but i beleive it be a push button 4x4 not a shifter. And it is in high the truck does not slow down at all it just has a destinct whine from the front. Just trying to get ideas.

About the doors..... ya'll correct me if I'm wrong, but I haven't seen anything on the market for us FS guys. Gotta fab'em up yourself. Depends on how bad you want them.

if you have any luck locating doors please post up.I will prolly cut down some doors for mine.
As far as the transfer case, it could be the switch or possibly a relay. I think it uses a relay?Confusedcratchhe:?
For safty reasons it may be a good idea to get it in 2wd and pull the fuse.I know it's hard to work on long distance.
Stupid hurts when it catches up, and it WILL catch up!

Is it really shifting the t-case? or is it the tranny? Either way, that'd be the 2nd shift module of each (tcase or tranny) that I've heard going bad this month!

you are correct sir. as far as i know and i have seen there arent any tube doors on the market for us fullsize guys. (if somebody finds some then i stand corrected)
