Who can CUT and RE-SPLINE axles???
#1
Looking for a company that has the ability to competently cut and re-spline axle shafts for me. I know of two and they are in Indiana and California. Looking for a local joint or something closer to Charleston, SC to make is cost effective.

Thanks,
Mike

Just looking to use some chevy axles to replace the stock EB axles. They are perfect but the passenger inner is too long. I can get them cheap but they need to be modified to fit in the bronco. I know I can have it done for $50 + shipping and the part is about $20 so if I can cut down on the shipping it will be cost effective.

I looked into this a while back. It was cheaper to buy aftermarket axles after you pay shipping to and from with labor. Complete and JBG had the best prices.

Sure was nice of JBG to advertise their Chrome-molly inner + outer axleshaft set as NEW but send me reworked shafts. Is this standard? Even nicer was the fact that the C-clips do not have quite enough clearance to seat on the joint with the caps fully seated.

Can't wait to hear what they have to say tomorrow.

Oh wow... That SUCKS! I hate bashing any vendor, but I'm definitely interested in what they tell you and how they fix this! They ought to make it right... I reckon we'll see how they compare to Tom's customer service! Please post up the details as they unfold...
