I went to the doctor last Wed. for a bone scan to see if my left knee replacement was infected. The good news is that it is not infected. The bad news is that the "glue" that holds it all together did not set. So I'm going to have to have it replaced, again. I'm facing a lot of pain and about 6 weeks re-coup. I've been in constant pain for the last 6 years and I'm tired of hurting. I'm ready to try about anything. You guys remember an old soldier in your prayers and I know that , through God, I'm going to be fine. I just hate the thoughts of all the pain involved. (See what happens when you get old!!) :xyxthumbs:

Sorry to hear that brother. Don't know if it is good that you know what to expect or if that makes it worse. Hopefully they will do a good job. Is the VA doing this for you? Maybe you just had some glue from the lowest bidder in there the first time.

Clint it is good that it is not infected. My neighbor had a staph infection develop from her hip replacement. The infection is a tougher and bumpier road. You are in my families prayers.
When are they going to operate?

I hate to hear that Clint. My grandfather had a total knee replacement at 80 years old and I know the pain that he went through and wouldn't wish that on anybody. You're still young and tough. Keep us up to date on when it is going to be done.
