k5 wants to be a bronco...
#11
I don't have a whole lot. 72 rolling chassis bronco. tub is pretty good. could be used as is. metal work wasn't done by me. it has new floors, kick panels, door posts, etc. some patch panels in the rear areas. rear floors are good. frame has been cleaned and painted. poly body mounts. d30 front. 4.11's in both axles. i can throw in a good 302, stock 3 spd trans and t-case, drive shafts, and more. not sure what the k5 is worth or if the motor is still good after the mud incident. just throwing it out there. i have the rolling chassis minus some parts i'd give you (like the motor, trans, a hardtop, ps box, heater box, etc) for sale for $1800. I figure with the extras, should be pretty close value wise it would still need a fair amount to be complete.

Saw that Bronco in my recent Craigslist search for a Bronco. For 1800 bucks I'd be more inclined to try and talk you down to 1500 and buy it outright. IF I had the money. Right now with the new business and trying to build another Mustang there just is no money for another project. If it was all there and just needed to be put back together it would be another deal entirely. As far as the condition of the ole K5 shes back to the same condition as before the water hole incident. Tranny and converter have been drained and refilled twice (new filter both times) front diff has been serviced and the engine oil has been changed twice. Running and shifting good as new. The rear main seal leak has slowed way down and we fixed the PS gearbox leak last night with a new seal. Also replaced the starter with a new one last night. I figure its an honest $5000 truck and was prepared to take $4500 for it to try and get into an EB. Here's a link to my CL ad....

Gotcha. I didn't know what kind of shape it was in. Hope you get a good EB. Off topic, but what kind of company did you start? One day I hope to do the same...

It's a performance shop called Redline Performance. Mostly GM and Ford stuff. We have a Dyno-Jet dyno in the ground and do a bunch of tuning on Mustangs and Lightnings and a good amount of LS tuning as well. We have a facebook page for those of you on FB, make sure you "like" the page. http://www.facebook.com/RedlinePerformanceLLC We are working on getting a website put together as well.

That is really cool. Didn't know you were into such things. Is that where chuck and chuzie did their dyno runs?
