Hey guys
#1
I just registered here, I'm glad to find a local forum of Bronco nuts like me. I just started restoring a 1973 Bronco 2 weeks ago. My father and I bought it on halves 8 years ago or so, but it is time to fix it up. People stop by, wanting to buy it, and we have a number that we would think about selling it for. No one has offered close to it though. I don't want to sell it, and I don't really have the money to fix it how I'd like to, but I am going to start, and get it back drivable.
Its a 1973 uncut Bronco, and it is decent shape given the neglect its been shown. Driver side floor pan has a rust hole as well as both kick panels, and rust hole in the bottom of the tailgate. I plan to eventually to make it a close to "show room" Bronco as possible for a poor boy.
I'm lucky, I can't afford new car fever, but I can afford "fix what you have fever."

heck yeah!!! welcome aboard, and glad your keeping it. you get a way with a lot of the "fixer up things" that need to be done while you drive. so dont get to feeling like you have to park it til its "right". i drive mine daily...and i have to fix what i can each and every day that something comes up...and plan the larger things to get fix over the weekends lol

where is smithfield? thanks for joining. would like to see pics too if ya can,Chuck

Thanks for posting! Welcome. You'll find a good bunch of folks on here. If you run into issues or have questions, feel free to post those. Sounds like you are starting with something in pretty decent shape. Hope to see some pictures and progress of it. If nothing else, it will help motivate you to keep at it.

We are planning our meet and greet for this year. Probably going to be in March or early April at Dennis Carpenter's, here in Concord, NC.

This was taken last Sat. after a wash. I am going to install new shocks this weekend, and install my Red NOS hub locks I bought from EBAY, that were expensive, but they aren't pink.
