Sick Pony: 74' Sport Resto Mod for Trail and Street

Crawdad Wrote:You back home I assume?!!! Glad you made it home safe if so. I would check out ur local Tire Kingdom. Get a quote then tell them ur with military and they may take off more. 4WheelParts will give a discount as well.

nope... not home, still got a little while... but im close enough to make sure parts are at the house when i get there! My main concern isnt finding them cheap, its finding the best value, i.e. quality of that model versus its cost... the BFG MT's are only slightly higher than the grabber, and have a good rep, so i think i might go that route. pretty sure not many places can beat the price for tire wheel and mount/balance that tirepackage.com is offering. not when you consider the ease of not having to transport 5 wheels and tires to a tire shop, and waiting there while billy-bob take 3 hours to do what i can do in an hour if i had the machines... i hate tire shops... my truck sits on the lift untouched while they BS with each other for atleast 40% of the time im there...

right, and five 35" KM2's for 1400 without driving an hour to tire kingdom, and waiting another 2-3 in august for them to mount them sounds good to me too!!! Tirepackage is gonna be the route for me...

No vibes... a little knocking noise that i think is coming form the water pump (new), P/S pump (new), or Alternator (not new), at low rpm... liek below or at idle... immediatley goes away with any throttle at all...

Sorting out littel electrical gremlins in the cab and chassis right now... but drivetrain seems to be strong. i definitely want a offraod/RV cam... its lopey and revvy! has a street strip cam for a mustang application in it right now...(PO's PO)

Here's some eye candy...
