Any updates on the belt? I've not had any trouble out of mine yet. I don't have any good advice to give on that one.

I haven't wrenched on mine really, but have been cleaning the garage and organizing stuff. I hope to get some work done this weekend.

Nothing. As of now, just put a new belt on since we can't figure it out. Up to post 58 on classic regarding the damn belt. Pretty good troubleshooting thread for anyone who has any issues

I just read that thread. Can't help but wonder if it isn't the alt causing the issues. On one EB I did a 3g V-belt setup. It was about impossible to get it to not squeak when cold. When the alt is charging, it is really a power robber. How is your battery?

Perhaps the soap helps it to slip on that pulley and cause the noise to go away? Did it go away with the new belt?

How about a shorter belt? Kidding- just had to say it

Nope still need to get the roll bar done.

Final disassembly completed. Pe'pe is nothing more than a pile of parts and a concept. I'd post some pics but loader doesn't seem to be working.

Better left to the imagination. Took you long enough to dismantle that rust bucket!
