I'd say no, in respect for those with kids and for DC and the employee's. Just my 2-cents but it's not up to me.

Hmmmm. That is definately a touchy subject especially when it comes to others attending especially with kids. I too would initially say no however, couldn't hurt to pack the cooler and respectfully ask if anyone minds when you arrive. If not, bust it out (with restraint and tact of course).
Problems arise only when someone get out of control or stupid.
I wouldn't have a problem telling someone I would rather they not partake around my kids and/or family. Most likely I would already have a cold one in my hands though.
It really boils down to respecting the wishes of others and I am all for that first and foremost.

As club officer I will chim in and say thet it would be apreciated if adult beverages be left at home or at the camp ground. It could cause problems with our sponcers or possible legal issues.
What happens after the event is over at the resturant or at the camp ground is your own choice. Thanks to Rhonda and David there will be food and refreshments so lets all have a good time. Thanks.
