Got the basket still. You need it?? it was actually a metal milk crate from who knows how many decades ago. Batteries were no good- going to scrap them.
I went and bought a new (correct) battery for it instead of a couple used no good car batteries. I'm sure my dad would not have approved of that or a new rebuild kit for the carb. He must have had it apart once as it had a bunch of handmade gaskets on it. I need to get a new starter belt still. The current one is holding on by a few threads. Or, maybe some belt dressing will fix it from slipping...

Spent the day yesterday trying to get the trans into position but the clutch fork and throw out bearing kept in the way. Gonna try tonight here is some pics tight fit
