Perhaps the relatively cool dry air damaged my brain. I shall retreat to my man cave, fetch a wine cooler and watch something on Lifetime.

Have fun romancing the bronco chuzie!
Weather was beautiful here today. Did some wrenching and metal fab on the 67 project as well as started prepping for the trip to Tellico. Mainly had to work on the trailer lights and wiring. Only a few weeks away!

I took the day off. Been at it every day since I got home a week ago.
All I did was reclock steering wheel, move outer sun visor brackets inboard to prevent hitting the roll bar and tighten the B nut on one of my new trans hard lines that was leaking.
I would like to fix my rear pinion leak and fab gas tank armor next week.

Took my 3G alternator off today to have it rebuilt because it has been intermittently cutting out. Discovered why when I removed it. When I had my new motor installed like 4 years ago, the idiot put the green and red exciter wire to ground so basically it's been charging wide open all the time. Can't believe I didn't fry something.

Wow! I sure hope that idiot is gonna get an ear full from you.
The fact it lasted this long is a testament to the quality of some of these parts. What's the rebuild gonna cost?

Don't forget to chill your wine coolers, so you don't get cranky

Pulled the radiator, Alternator, Water and Power Steering pumps and eyeballed what I will have to do to install the Twin stick. Guess I will have to pull the old J shifter before I can get a good plan on how hard it will be to access the parts with a cutting wheel on the grinder. Hoping the 3 inch B/Lift will make it a lil easiar to get to.

I was able to get in there from the top with a plasma cutter. Not the cleanest but certainly effective for twin sticks.
