A good thing for the header bolts is those stage 8 locking header bolts. I know it is a major PItA to tighten mine but I have to do it because I hate chaning the gasket.
Looks like you are on the right track JP maybe a formal checklist would be in order to make sure it gets done each time. Preventive maintenance is always the best kind.
Depending on the trail activity I would also suggest making sure there was no water contamination in the driveline. Nothing worse than losing a diff to oil breakdown.
