The tailgate is complete - latches installed and shuts nice and tight.
Both upper corners are burned in now too - a little finish grinding to do but that'll be later when we prep it for paint.
Keith and I worked on the cage today. The rear main hoop, legs to the center hoop, shoulder harness bar, and coil over mount bars are bent and tacked in place. The rear hoop had to be narrow enough to fit inside the rear fender wells so it made for a unique look I think.
The entire cage has a slight rake forward - a little different than what you can buy and other people make. It still fits under a top (used a junk hard top without any glass to test fit). Next will be the coil over mounts and seat mounts.
Oh yea... notice how we cleaned up the rear fender cut. That jagged fender was an eye-sore so we made a template to cut both sides to.
