The rear will be cheap and easy. I don't like the 8.8 in a 4x4 because of the c clips that retain the axles. The 9 is sort of universal. It can be built and modified as strong as your pocket book will let you, but there are no 8 lug axles for it. The D60 is a good upgrade, but a Sterling 10.50 is just as easy to find and already has 35 spline axles. The 14 bolt is probably marginally stronger. You just have to find a cab and chassis width drw axle to get one that is not too wide.
When you get ready to look for a rear axle, your best place to shop is the pull-a-part yard. Your looking at $100 or less. Sometimes you can luck up and find a front. You better get it when you do, because it will not last long.
