billavista is like one them there inganeer types. He can provide you with hours of reading material. Spent alot of time on the pirate board years ago when i was in Cali. Was at the Pirate rubicon clean-up in 99.
If your ok with rust repair , and you are satisfied with the axle info go for it. depends on what you want it to be , wheeler , showpiece , driver or a little of all that.
But there is a wealth of info here and alot of good folks willing to help ya if able.
