I don't think you are going to see a huge increase in gas mileage. We drive a brick for goodness sake. I doubt you will see anything in the city since most of it will be in 4th (1.00 stock ratio) or the lower range of 5th on occasion. On the highway, I assume you will be in the upper 60's or 70's and though your RPM will be reduced due to the gearing, you are still a huge rolling drag device. I will be surprised if you see more than 2MPG increase at the most on the highway. I think the major advantages are the low gears and the reduction in wear on the engine by reducing RPM for extended cruising periods. It is a great swap though.
