If memory serves right, you want the later sterling (93-98, iirc) with the longer pinion shaft. I had one a while back but got rid of it. I decided to go the 14 bolt route. 99 and later axles were disc, but were also metric lug pattern like on your F250.
I thing FBG had a sterling in it before it was parted out. Maybe Chuck can give some insight as well.
