The pumps should work well. I have situated them this way on other rigs without issue. The intakes and fuel rails are from an Explorer. I like them because the Schraeder valve is right on the fuel rail and is easy to get at to check fuel pressure. I will be running the 70mm MAF to match up to the 19lb injectors.
Tonight I worked on my door panels. These are made from aluminum sheet. Since the doors won't have window cranks, I wanted to make a pair without holes for the cranks. So here is the result. I had to cut a few holes with the plasma. The rest was drilled, or cut with the angle grinder and jig saw. They will be going to the painter and will be painted matte black. The truck will be getting several things painted that color. I don't think it will be getting any chrome exterior trim. Black chrome door handles are on order to match the mirrors. I'm still pondering on what to do for the headlight bezels.
