I'd be tempted to leave that back angle in place and just flush it up against what is there. I know it looks kinda wonky like but you ought to be able to straighten it up well enough.
It would be a good time to remove the pan and cut that bad metal out of the kick panel(s) and put a new patch panel there before welding the floor(s) in.
Also, do realize that you are going to make chuzie jealous with all that wire you've got going on.
I found an idea for a fuse box today that he might like.
