Fund a project? who you cheap skates. Nah I think it would be cheaper to just replace them once a year. As for the flex im positive the bushings help, mainly by keep the arm itself from binding. The c-wedge does seem to limit movement, hence why you see a lot of wrist-ed arms. I think the bushings are being wore from axle wrap. There is only like 6" separation between the joints vertically. Take for instance the new super duties they the same basic radius arm set up but with greater separation between the bushings. Thats kinda of my thoughts on them, I am curious to see how my new poly bushing compare to the older rubber ones.
