Yes- SHE'S ALIVE!!!
Thanks for the help last night Clay.
We got the the cam broken in (it was reground and polished during the rebuild) and hung the door last night.
There was a small puddle under the oil pan after we finished running it. Closer inspection revealed diesel fuel. It turned out to be coming from the metal return rail. It has a split somewhere under the tab attached to it, toward the middle of the return line. I'm sure that rail costs a fortune, so I'm hoping to get it TIG welded. Got it torn off of the engine today, which did entail removal of the injector lines and some other stuff.
Got the quarter guards cut to work with the fender flares and the upper quarter guards and they are in place. Other than painting the guards, they're about done.
The exhaust is removed, to be finish welded, and the doors are being assembled too but I'll need to order some parts for them before they can get finished. Slow and steady.
I'd really love to put the ARB switches in the console and had originally laid the wires out to do that, but there is no room for them there either. They aren't in an ideal spot but I can reach them if I stretch.
