Time for a little update. The armor for the quarter guards is painted and installed. The BC soft top does not use all the original mounting holes in the bedrail, so the ones that weren't used now have some countersunk 1/4" bolts in them to keep the quarter guards in place when the soft top is off.
Doors are hung in place and pretty well assembled with new window tracks and all. I'm in the process of installing the soft top and fitting it around the door openings. At least it's a lot easier to work with than a hard top is. Instructions and hardware included with the top were pretty lacking. Ended up using a lot of stainless hardware and it is close to being 'assembled'. The tabs for the door opening areas did get modified with the dremel tool a bit as the top is sitting higher than it should due to the quarter guard thickness.
Took the exhaust and the return fuel rail up to Chris at Mars Fab in Harrisburg. He got it all TIG'd up and I haven't noticed the return rail leaking any since. Did I mention that he can weld??? Super guy that does AWESOME work!
And I took her for a maiden voyage up and down the driveway. Foamy PS fluid came spewing out as soon as I shut it off. Thought it was pretty well bled. Guess not. Bleeding the system has really not been fun BUT, she moves!
Man, this color blue looks 1000% better in person than in pics. Very deceiving.
