Are you talking about the plastic hardline or the metal?

I was able to modify all the plastic hardline on my. You can remove the locking fittings and move them down the line as you see fit with a little heat. I was even able to reform some of the lines too. Gotta be careful not to overheat or the line becomes too brittle and may burst under constant fatigue.
