I'll be there Thursday afternoonish through Sunday, kinda have to since I'm running the thing. URE can be boring, but it's only 40 miles for me and it's a good place to test out the Bronco after winter projects before the East Coast Bronco Roundup in June. It usually gives me enough time to make any changes or repairs incase anything breaks.
The shootout while being called an event, is really just a semi organized trail ride and get together for some fun in the woods. Friday is usually a good day to ride, not nearly as many people and you can really cover some ground. Saturday, you only get about a 1/3 of the trail time in because of the lines of vehicles on the trails, so if you wanted to ride the trails Friday and then go to the Raliegh event it would probably work out well.
I don't know for sure, but there should be a few open seats so don't hesitate to come out, you should be able to find a ride.
