Looking for C4
#12
Aaron is the man, I dont have a shop to try and touch a tranny right now. Once I get some benches built maybe I would. Auto trans are not that hard you just need to keep it clean and get the right case measurements.
How ever you do it try and stick with name brand rebuilt kits.
Lets face it, you get what you pay for. I have had cheap kits and been very sorry for it(most recent build on my spare c4 for example'.
Full kevlar bands and clutches, there are a few comanys offering heavy duty bearings for the C4(Corr trans found some for me), a manual vavle body(art Carr comes to mind) and a good shifter.
The spud shaft(I called it the intermediat shaft) is hard to come by.
The other part is extra coolers, you can never have enoough!
