Coolered out last night in the harbor. Set up about dead low and started casting around 8 pm. By 10:00 we were full. I forgot what a PITA it is to de-head a full cooler of shrimp!
Going back out in a little to get set up for the evening. Hopefully we'll have the same luck.

Not as good of a catch last night. We got there at the same time (2 hours early to get our spot) but there were LOTS of people already there. I guess with it being Saturday more people were able to go. We ended up about 100 yards away from our prime time spot. The boats where we wanted to set up coolered out in less than 2 hours.
After several hours of casting we had a half cooler and were only catching 2-4 per cast - shrimp also got smaller as the night went on. Decided to call it a night. Came home and boiled 50 shrimp and headed the half-cooler.
Considering Jessica is allergic to shrimp, I'd say I have enough to keep me satisfied until next season :bdent:
