Why don't just get some nhra sliders from summit or jegs and tie your seats into the cage?

do they fit corbeau seats?, plus my seats are pretty low now, not sure if I want to mount them on top of tubing.

yeah, you probably did...however that price is now $455 plus shipping...still not too bad though.

Chuck - Check Pirate. There was a guy in Athens GA selling them and had a great package deal on 2 seats with free shipping. I'll surf over there and see if I can't find a link for you.

I see where you've already been on Pirate - there are a lot of venders with them in the first several pages. This is the one I was thinking about - close so shipping wouldn't be bad - may even have a member close and could pick them up.

What about welding a piece of flat bar to the cage that is almost flush to the floor so that the seat would sit lower. Check Out malcomzila's build up on classic i believe he did it this way.

I plan on using 1" tube and getting it as close to the floor as possible - then weld tabs onto the 1" at mid-point and then the mount is only 1/2" off of floor.
