Local Raleigh meetings

We definitely had a blast! Planning for the Raleigh Bash is coming along... Met a cool cat, who recently just joined us... Ronnie (sparkchaser). :biggthumpup:

As for the Karting... well... introducing the new-and-reigning-champ.... JAYT!!!!! Read it and weep, boys! Who wants some?! :hysterical:

Yeah we missed ya... We try getting together the 2nd thursday of every month.. We'll catch ya on April 9th, if you don't make it out to the Dennis Carpenter Meet. (I've got a few extra seats in tow rig for that, if you don't wanna bring the EB).

Raleigh Bash is May 23rd... More to come on that. You still interested in handling the R/C group?

Rush Hour Karting? Need info where, how, when, what?

Well I have mentioned the Bronco bash at the last RC Rock Crawl on March 7 ( I placed third by the way). They are interested but it normally takes about 6 to 8 hours to hold one of these RC rock crawls, and I know that just would be in the way of the 1:1 scale trucks. So I was thinking it might be better to have a short demo (15 mins or so) with just a couple of guys there showing how we score, judge and build these little guys. So we don't take up the whole rock garden and too much time. You running Friday night? I'll stop by and talk to ya about this more... Seems like we could run a more simple R/C event than you guys normally run and have some prizes for it. I don't see why we can't keep our silly 1:1 trucks off the rocks for an hour of R/C krawlin! I can't make this weekend's race, but I might also stop down to Dave's on the 4th... Good luck, Bro!

Don't know if I will make it out Friday night or not. I got a new engine for my 1/8 scale buggy that I got to brake in before Saturday, so I might be at the track till dark. I'm better on dirt than I am on pavement anyway. If I don't see you Friday, I get up with you before the 4th so maybe we can talk to Otto and/or Dave soon.
