Doesn't know about it yet. Locked in the garage in the back yard. My 14 yo wanted a "hippy bus". We found one in Sumter thanks to Ken. A 74. Could have driven it home but trailered instead. Rebuilt 1.8L, new brakes, new tires, Kenwood stereo with CD and MP3 player. Needs tie rod ends, CV boots, and a windshield (broken). All the side panels inside we'll make new and recover as he wants. Re-upholster the seats and new carpet.
Pics when I figure out how to size them correctly.

I hope your boy does not get on the forum.
Are you gonna stick 33s under it too?

He's 14, be 15 in July so we have time to work on stuff before he gets his permit. Should be fun. No investment, no respect. If he works on it and scrapes his knuckles like we all have he'll take better care of it.

That is cool but totally coincidental. Just a shade lighter. Both 74s. Go figure. Going into the weeds with it. Lowered front beam and drop the rear. Had a 73 bug and did the same thing. Easy to do. Interior work will really set it off.
