Dunno what happened there to my last post,but o well.Was gonna say post a sign-{Trespassers will be shot,Survivors will be shot agin!}Anyway good luck with your new project!Looking forward to more pictures.Would love to bring the Bronco up and let my Daughter do a little brim fishin'.Peace JC:rebel:

Time to bring this to the top...
We did some clearing today and started moving a little dirt to fill my washes in. We've got 3 washes that are all a result of the pond spillway over the years. The oldest one had trees in it 12" diameter - that shows how old these washes originated and have been getting worse ever since. Our future house will be on top of the hill so I'm making it a more gradual slope to the pond so that we'll be able to see the water from the front porch. As it was, you could only see the far side the way the land was flat and then sloped down steep. We should get all of the washes filled tomorrow and start placing the rocks. You can see I've got a heck of a burn pile started ... it's bigger since that picture mokin:

Hopefully when it's done we can have a get to together on the farm - 4 wheeeling, fishing, and BBQ sounds good to me :beer:
