well i bought an 08 2500 ram in dec o7. i had a check engine light at about 700 miles. they reflashed the pcm. came back on a while later. no turbo boost. they fixed it. well my truck went back about 4 times for the same thing. the light came on again last week. i take it back. the dealer puts a new turbo on my truck. i pick it up yesterday. i did not make it out of parking lot. when i let off gas and exhuast brake kicks in, bad sucking sound. i turn around and the manager drives it and tells me it is just the new turbo. he said the new turbo sounds that way. i drive home. today took my girl to school then on way to work smoke rolls out from under hood. i thought my truck was on fire. i took it back and pulled it in dealer's shop. my truck starts blowing smoke out from under hood. manager tells me to pull truck out. i told him if my truck is going to burn his shop is going to burn with it. they are looking at it right now. i will keep u posted. sorry for long rant, i am very unhappy. :banghead:

Check "lemon laws", you may be able to swap it for another truck. That dealer has a lot to learn about "Thou shalt not lie!":xyxthumbs:

Your the second person I have heard with problems at the dodge dealer. A friend of mine had a problem and took it to one near gastonia NC, they supposidly fixed it. Not far up the road it blew up. So he had it towed to the closest dealer. They said it was his fault for putting the wrong fuel in it, and it wouldnt be covered by dodge. Needles to say he is fiting it. Dont back down, they broke it, they have to pay to fix it.
I work for a nissan dealer, If I fix something and i breaks again right away its my comeback and we eat it. Especialy if its directly related to what I fixed.

LEMON LAW this sucker before you get into a situation with that truck that is much more inconvienent that what you are currently experiencing.

dealer finally called me. it seems that the gasket between the turbo and exhuast broke or did not get put in. they are going to have it fixed in morning. i will test it out and let you know how it works.

it has 23,500 miles on it now.

when the dealer closes up. i will take all the emissions crap off. all the problems have been emission crap. everyone i have talked to that has taken the crap off, has had no problems. we will see.
