I am real sorry to hear about the job. Hopefully you will be able to get something else soon, but if not, thats why companies pay the unemployment tax.I never wanted to file but in 01 I had to. Only drew one check but thats what it is for. Also a little later I will be wanting to get some slider bars and roll bars for a fullsize.I will definetly keep you in mind for that.

Thought I would update everyone with what's going on now.
Today was my last day - turned the company truck back in and got a ride home. On a good note, the owners of the company I worked for have put an offer on the table for me. After I turned my truck and office keys in to them they came back to me with the shop key and told me that I can use the shop :xyxthumbs: to work on the broncos and build bumpers/cages/etc. Keith and I have been working out of our garages and driveways so this is a HUGE offer that I hope we can make use of.
That being said, it looks like I am going to pursue the off-road / fab business. I've got a couple weeks of work around the house that I've put off for the past couple years so I'm going to take care of that first and Jessica and I have already planned our summer vacation the week after the 4th, so it looks like the week after vacation I'll be going back to the same physical place to work, but not to work for them and not to do grading work.
Who knows what will happen between now and then, but these are my current thoughts. I'm still in a daze from everything happening so quickly, but I don't want to make any decisions too quickly that I will regret later.
Thanks for listening!

To quote " It sucks shit you lost your job" Why am I never in a position to help anyone? Well, except JP (poke). I know we are doing a lot of hiring at the site. All boondoggle "stimulus" money but work is work. Long way to travel but there is diem involved. Valueaddedsolutionsinc.com, ACTSinc.com, may be something available for skilled labor/supervision. But like Aaron said, take a breath and exhale then set about going forward. Unemployment isn't much but its better than nothing.
best of luck
Tim

Robert- That is great that your old boss gave you the keys to the shop. Things happen for a reason and for some reason a bigger power above wants you to go another way in your life. Just ride the wave and see what happens. Hang in there bud....:xyxthumbs:
